He has worked at the highest level of the entertainment industry alongside such notable figures as Oscar winners Anne Hathaway, Rami Malek, Julie Andrews, Anthony Hopkins, Helen Mirren, Geraldine Page, and the legendary Katharine Hepburn. As an actor, Joseph began his career as a member of the prestigious Mirror Repertory Company in New York City alongside Academy Award-winners Anthony Hopkins, Geraldine Page, and F. Murray Abraham. TV credits include Veep, Gilmore Girls, a recurring role on the HBO series Treme, and the FX/Hulu mini-series, Class of '09. As a screenwriter, Joseph co-wrote The Pottsville Maroons with writing partner Derek Heeren. The film is based on the true story of Tony Latone, a coal miner who carried his small town's team to the 1925 National Football League Championship only to have it forfeited. The screenplay was optioned and developed as a co-production with Penny Marshall. Joseph & Heeren's screenplay, The Hex is a Christian/folk horror/thriller set in the Pennsylvania Amish country. It was a recent finalist in the 2023 ScreenCraft Horror Competition. Joseph's decades-long career as a producer and executive in the American Theater began in the early 1980s, as Executive Director of the West Bank Cafe's Laurie Beechman Theatre in Manhattan. He presented the early work of such diverse artists as Holly Hunter, Ben Stiller, Julianne Moore, Ethan Hawke, comic Lewis Black, and the comedy group The Kids in the Hall; as well as, such acclaimed writers, Aaron Sorkin, Alan Ball, Donald Margulies, and Peter Hedges. He produced the world premieres of, "Tapestry, the Music of Carole King" (Off-Broadway), and "The Queen of Bingo" (Off-Broadway, Los Angles, Chicago, and the national tour). He served as a consultant and executive at the Geffen Playhouse & the Blank Theatre Company in Los Angeles and as the Executive Artistic Director for five seasons at the Falcon Theatre, now the Garry Marshall Theatre, in Burbank, CA.
